Story & Form
A premium agency site, on a CMS shaped around how the team works.
Story & Form is a strategic marketing agency working across social, email, websites and digital audits. We designed and built their website and a custom content system shaped around how the team plans, writes and publishes, so the website keeps up with the work instead of adding to it.

A premium brand needs a site that matches, and a team that isn't slowed down by it.
An agency's website is its first piece of work a prospective client sees. Story & Form needed something quiet, editorial and clearly premium, that explained a broad offer simply and turned visitors into discovery calls.
Behind the scenes, the bigger cost was time. Content moved between people and tools by hand before anything went live. Rather than force the team into a generic CMS, we designed one around the way they already work.
What it had to do
- 01Explain a broad service offer at a glance.
- 02Win back the hours spent moving content between tools by hand.
- 03Give the team content tools that match how they already work.
- 04Lead visitors clearly from first visit to a booked call.

A website and the system behind it.
Two parts designed together: the public site that wins the work, and the internal tools that keep it current.
01
The website
Editorial design
A high-end look with careful typography and pacing, designed from a blank page rather than a theme.
Clear offer structure
Services, sectors and proof arranged so a visitor understands what the agency does and who it's for within a few scrolls.
Lead capture
Discovery-call booking and a free downloadable resource that grows the mailing list.
02
The CMS
Internal posting system
A place for the team to draft, organise and manage content in the order they produce it.
Publishing workflow
Content moves from draft to live through clear steps, so nothing is published by accident and nothing waits on a developer.
Shaped around the team
Screens and fields follow the agency's own day-to-day operations, not a generic template.
From the team's desk to the live site.
Content is written once in the CMS and flows through a simple workflow to the website.

Publishing a new piece
- Step 1
Draft
A team member writes the piece in the posting system, alongside the rest of the week's content.
- Step 2
Review
It moves to review in the workflow, so the right person signs it off.
- Step 3
Publish
One action puts it live on the website. No copying between tools, no developer needed.
Time back for the work that matters.
What the agency gets back now that the website and the workflow share one system.
- 15+ hrsof manual content work removed every week
Time that used to go on moving content between tools now goes on client work.
- 1place to plan, write and publish
The website and the team's content workflow share the same system.
The decisions you don't see.
Bespoke, not themed
Every page was designed for this brand, which is what lets a premium agency look like one.
A CMS that fits the team
We mapped how content moves through the agency before designing a single screen, then built the tools around that.
